Supervised Visitation and Exchanges in New Westminster, BC

Family Visitation Services BC provides court-ordered supervised visits and supervised exchanges for families in New Westminster, including Uptown, Sapperton, Queensborough, Glenbrooke North and the West End, and nearby communities.

Visits take place in public community settings in New Westminster (such as parks, libraries and recreation centres) or by video. A trained supervisor stays with the family for the whole visit and writes a factual report afterwards. New Westminster families often meet us at places like Queens Park, the New Westminster Public Library or the recreation facilities in Uptown and Sapperton.

We work with parents, lawyers, mediators, Family Justice Centres and social workers. Each parent completes their own intake form, and we contact each parent separately. Where there is a no-contact or protection order, arrivals and departures are staggered so the parents do not meet.
