Supervised Visitation and Exchanges in Burnaby, BC

Family Visitation Services BC provides court-ordered supervised visits and supervised exchanges for families in Burnaby, including Metrotown, Brentwood, Edmonds, North Burnaby and South Burnaby, and nearby communities.

Visits take place in public community settings in Burnaby (such as parks, libraries and recreation centres) or by video. A trained supervisor stays with the family for the whole visit and writes a factual report afterwards. Burnaby families often meet us at places like Central Park, a Burnaby Public Library branch or the recreation centres around Metrotown and Edmonds.

We work with parents, lawyers, mediators, Family Justice Centres and social workers. Each parent completes their own intake form, and we contact each parent separately. Where there is a no-contact or protection order, arrivals and departures are staggered so the parents do not meet.

Every supervisor has a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search. To start, call (778) 791-7712, email [email protected], or download the intake form on our Forms page — or fill out the intake form online.
