Read each module's lesson content — real BC-focused practice drawn from the Supervised Visitation Network standards and BC sources.
Quiz
Each module ends with a quiz. Score 80% or higher to unlock the next module. Retakes are unlimited.
Final assessment
After all 11 modules, complete the scenario-based final exam. 80% to pass.
Certificate
Pass the final assessment and receive your printable FVSBC Certificate of Completion. FVSBC is notified automatically.
This program grants a Certificate of Completion and the status "FVSBC Trained Visitation Supervisor." There is no formal credential of this kind for supervised visitation providers anywhere — this is FVSBC internal training, not a licence or regulated professional designation. In BC we use the Family Law Act terms parenting time (guardians) and contact (non-guardians).
Qualification checklist
To become a qualified FVSBC Visitation Supervisor, all five items below must be completed.
Complete all 11 online modules In this portal
Read every module and pass each quiz at 80% or higher.
Pass the final assessment In this portal
Scenario-based exam covering all modules. 80% pass mark.
Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector Outside the portal
Required before supervising visits. Arrange this with FVSBC's operations team.
Valid first aid Outside the portal
Hold a current first-aid certificate from a recognized provider.
Shadowing practicum In person
Shadow a trained supervisor, co-supervise visits, then be observed yourself — arranged in person by FVSBC.
Training modules
The program covers the Supervised Visitation Network's 20 prescribed training topics across 11 modules — the same 24-hour training framework SVN requires of visit supervisors, plus a supervised shadowing practicum.
